A bunch of people have sent me the link from the AP wire story that appeared in the Houston Chronicle under the headline, “Drunk by noon? Perfectly acceptable in Philly.”
“In many places, “drinking before noon is something to hide. Not in Philadelphia.”
Yes, “something to hide,” unless it’s just before a noon kickoff in the parking lot of the Houston Texans’ stadium and the photographer for the local newspaper is snapping pictures for a report on breakfast beer.
