Jack Curtin: “Great American Worker”
Penn Brewing is issuing a new series of beer labels featuring so-called “Great American Workers.” Len Caric, the Pittsburgh brewery’s president and CEO, says in a press release, “We wanted to develop a consistent identity that told a story about each one of our brands – something associated with our historical tradition and heritage of brewing.”
And what better way to illustrate age-old historic traditions than with ancient Jack Curtin? Penn Dark’s label shows the aged beer writer hammering at his, um, rod. Or perhaps that’s the Hammer of Glory.
